Sorting sweets!

Henri Rousseau was a French painter who is most well known for his jungle scenes. Interestingly, he never actually visited a jungle. He took his inspiration from pictures, house plants and the botanical gardens in Paris.

In our book Maia, an orphan, moves to the Amazon to live with distant relatives. So, we’re going to be studying the rainforest this half term.

We didn’t win but we had a great day!

Over the next couple of weeks in literacy we will be writing our own version of this poem.

Thursday – stop bullying posters

Wednesday- we had to write something nice about someone in our class.

Monday – What is bullying?
Bullying is someone repeatedly hurting, teasing or picking on someone else.
